Each spring, the orchestra hosts a Young Artist Competition open to Colorado high school students. Participants play a movement of a concerto and receive feedback from a panel of judges. The winner receives a cash prize and performs their piece with the orchestra at our final concert of the season!

Information coming soon! We typically announce the details in October. Applications are generally due in February, about one month before the competition date in March. We already have our performance date for the 2026 competition winner- they will perform at our final concert, “Sunset” on May 1st, 2026 at 7:30pm at Mountain View High School!
