Welcome to our 2025-2026 Season!
This season, we are featuring works ʺBy Air, By Land, and By Sea!ʺ Each concert features pieces from an air, land, and sea theme.
Representing the air we have works like Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite, and several pieces portraying space, including Holst’s The Planets and Mozart’s Symphony No. 41, ʺJupiter.ʺ
Our land-themed selections include popular film music such as Jurassic Park, pieces inspired by battles like Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, and Grofeʹs Grand Canyon Suite, depicting one of the world’s great landmarks.
From the sea, we’ll play water-inspired works such as Dvorak’s The Water Goblin, Bennett’s Victory at Sea, and Hovhanessʹ work And God Created Great Whales.
We’ll have new and returning special guests! Adam Zukiewicz again joins us on the piano for Mozart’s Piano Concerto K. 491, and we’re also welcoming back Loveland High School Choirs for our December concert. In March, we’ll be featuring Jubal Fulks on the violin for the Sibelius Violin Concerto. Our season will end with a performance by the winner of the 2026 Young Artist Concerto Competition!
We look forward to seeing you!
Our goal for the 2025-2026 Season is to raise money for a new set of risers that will be more updated, easier to transport, and safer for our musicians! The goal is to raise $12,000 dollars to purchase a new set of risers to start using for the 2026-2027 season!
Please consider donating any amount- every little bit helps, no matter how big or small! Those donating at least $500 will get two complimentary tickets and recognition in our program.
Thanks for your support!
Each spring, the orchestra hosts a Young Artist Competition open to Colorado high school students. Participants play a movement of a concerto and receive feedback from a panel of judges. The winner receives a cash prize and performs their piece with the orchestra at our final concert of the season!
